ASA Foundation
The American Suppressor Association Foundation is the 501(c)(3) wing of the American Suppressor Association. Formed to educate the public on the realities and merits of suppressors, ASA-F stands at the forefront of pro-suppressor litigation.
The ASA Foundation believes that every law-abiding citizen should be able to buy and use suppressors to help protect their hearing. We also believe that we owe it to our warfighters to equip them with the best technology available to protect their hearing and provide them with a tactical advantage.

All donations go directly to Task Force Expedition Inc. (TFE) to support our mission. TFE is organized as a section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the Internal Revenue Code. TFE has applied for recognition of its exempt status from the IRS, and is awaiting such determination. TFE has no reason to believe the exempt status will not be granted, and if granted, the exemption will be retroactive to the date of incorporation.
Meet the climbers
Quinton Mount
Quinton is an Alaska born rambler with an unquenchable thirst for adventure and an interesting sense of humor. He spent the majority of his early life moving from state to state, and he finally settled in beautiful Utah where he’s resided for the past decade and a half. Shortly after turning 18, Quinton enlisted in the Army National Guard, where he served for 6 years. For the past 8 years, Quinton has been devoted to his career at SilencerCo where he is currently their Social Media Manager. When he is not consumed by work, you will find him spending time with his wonderful family, or travelling to some remote corners of the world.
KNOX WILLIAMS
Knox Williams is a passionate believer that every law-abiding citizen should be able to buy and use suppressors to help protect their hearing. He also believes that we owe it to our warfighters to equip them with the best technology available to protect them and provide them with a tactical advantage.
That’s why he helped form the American Suppressor Association in 2011. At the time, hunting with a suppressor was not legal in Georgia – Knox’s home state. When he began developing a plan to change the law, he realized two things: 1) no other organizations were working on pro-suppressor reform, and 2) he would be far more effective if he created a coalition. Thus, ASA was born.
Through his work at ASA, Knox has helped three states legalize suppressor ownership and 19 states legalize their use in the field – including the Peach State in 2014. In 2021, he helped form the ASA Foundation, the 501(c)(3) wing of the American Suppressor Association to educate the public on the realities and merits of suppressors and stand at the forefront of pro-suppressor litigation.
